BOHEMIA, NY — [August 1, 2025] — The AMAC Book Club is pleased to announce Red, White, and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers, by civil rights leader Robert L. Woodson Sr., as its August Book of the Month selection.

This collection of essays, written by a diverse group of scholars, educators, and commentators, seeks to offer an alternative perspective on the American experience. With a focus on highlighting stories of resilience, perseverance, and empowerment, Red, White, and Black presents a counter-narrative to widely accepted critiques of the nation’s founding and development.

“Our book club is dedicated to presenting works that spark thoughtful discussion and deepen our understanding of America’s past and present,” said Rebecca Weber, AMAC’s CEO. “This month’s selection provides a forum for voices that celebrate the strength of individuals and communities who have overcome adversity and contributed to the fabric of our nation.”

The essays in Red, White, and Black explore historical interpretation, cultural dialogue, and public policy through the lens of lived experience and scholarly analysis. The book aims to equip readers with a broader context for examining issues of race, identity, and the legacy of American ideals.
