FDA launches urgent probe into child deaths after COVID shots as whistleblowers expose cover-up
- The FDA is finally investigating unexplained child deaths following COVID-19 vaccination after years of family pleas and mounting evidence.
- CDC obstruction and VAERS underreporting have hidden the true scale of vaccine-related deaths, with data manipulation and deletions exposed.
- Medical experts demand an immediate halt to vaccinations during the investigation to prevent further tragedies.
- The FDA’s probe follows declining public trust, with 85% of healthcare workers skipping last year’s booster and emergency authorization ending.
- Families of deceased children continue to seek answers as the FDA promises findings in weeks, but skepticism remains over full transparency.
For years, grieving families have begged for answers about the sudden, unexplained deaths of their healthy children following COVID-19 vaccination. Now, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is finally conducting what Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary calls an “intense investigation” into these tragedies in an admission that the government’s own data can no longer be ignored.
In a candid interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Makary confirmed the FDA is reviewing autopsy reports, interviewing families, and analyzing records from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which currently lists 202 child deaths after COVID vaccination. Yet experts warn the real number could be far higher due to chronic underreporting—a problem even the FDA now acknowledges.
A pattern of obstruction and missing data
The investigation comes after years of stonewalling by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which Makary said gave his agency a “hard time” over accessing critical data. “Since we came into office, early on in the first few months, we got blocked,” he revealed. “It was those individuals who resigned from the CDC, that were in leadership, that gave us the hard time about getting the data.”
This obstruction isn’t surprising to those who have tracked the CDC’s handling of vaccine safety. VAERS, the government’s own reporting system, is notoriously unreliable—not because of flaws in the data, but because less than 1% of adverse events are ever reported, according to a 2011 Harvard study. Worse, a 2022 audit found that one in three COVID vaccine injury reports were either hidden from public view or deleted entirely.
Analyst Albert Benavides, founder of VAERSAware.com, told The Defender that many child deaths are likely buried in VAERS under “unknown” age categories. He noted that ummaries of these reports show three times more child deaths than the official count.
Why the sudden investigation?
The FDA’s probe follows mounting pressure from medical professionals and advocacy groups. Dr. Peter McCullough, a cardiologist and outspoken critic of COVID vaccine mandates, called the investigation “very late” and demanded an immediate halt to all vaccinations pending results. “Starting with the pediatric deaths is an anemic start,” he said. “Any such investigation should be done after any further vaccination is halted, so more deaths do not occur.”
Mary Holland, CEO of Children’s Health Defense, welcomed the news but questioned why it took so long. “It is horrifying to think that CDC officials in the past impeded investigation into child deaths from federally recommended medical interventions,” she said.
The investigation also comes as the FDA ended emergency use authorization for COVID vaccines, restricting them to high-risk individuals—a move that suggests even the agency now questions their universal necessity. Makary himself pointed out that 85% of healthcare workers skipped last year’s booster, a telling sign of waning confidence among medical professionals.
What else are they hiding?
The FDA’s probe raises troubling questions about what else has been suppressed. For years, parents have shared heartbreaking stories of children dying suddenly after vaccination, only to be dismissed by public health officials. In one case, a 7-year-old girl developed severe abdominal pain, fever, and vomiting after her first COVID shot and died five days later. Her death certificate listed only “complications from coronavirus infection” with no mention of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, the CDC has never released an official count of deaths confirmed to be linked to COVID vaccination. Instead, families have been left to piece together the truth from VAERS reports, autopsy records, and the occasional whistleblower.
The FDA’s investigation is only the beginning. If the agency confirms that COVID vaccines contributed to child deaths, it will validate what many parents have known all along: These shots were never as safe as we were told.
For now, Makary says the FDA will release its findings in the coming weeks. But after years of delays, cover-ups, and broken trust, the real question is whether the public—and the families of the deceased—will ever get the full truth.
