CHICAGO, IL — A concealed carry permit holder defended himself during an early morning attempted robbery in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on Chicago’s Northwest Side, resulting in one suspect being shot and both taken into custody. The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 5200 block of West Montana Street.
