A study published in the journal Kidney International Reports has found an association between daily coffee consumption and a reduced risk of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). The research, conducted by investigators at Johns Hopkins Medicine, analyzed long-term health data from over 14,000 adults. According to the findings, participants who drank any amount of coffee daily had a 15% lower risk of developing AKI compared to non-coffee drinkers.
