Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan was transferred back to Adiala Jail on Friday after a medical examination at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad, according to officials. Pakistan’s Supreme Court had on Tuesday ordered that Khan, founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, be moved to the private Islamabad hospital within 48 hours and remain there until September 16, according to reports. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said a team of doctors examined Khan and declared him medically fit, after which he was returned to Adiala Jail [1][2].
