In recent years, the LGBT movement has positioned itself as a beacon of progressivism, championing inclusivity and acceptance. However, a disturbing pattern is emerging. Individuals who identify as transgender or align themselves with the LGBT community are increasingly being implicated in horrific crimes, particularly against children.
One such case in Norway highlights this alarming trend, revealing how some are exploiting the cover of progressive identities to commit unspeakable acts of violence and abuse. It involved three individuals – Damien “Damia Rose” Baar, 43; Even “Eevee” Seberg, 35; and Kenneth Langvatn Aakre, 44 – who were charged with abusing and gang-raping a young girl during the 2024 Pride festival in Bergen. All three are accused of exploiting the victim’s vulnerability as an “at-risk youth.”
Baar and Seberg, who both identify as transgender women, are accused of “repeated sexual intercourse” with the underage victim. They also allegedly acted out a scenario at the Pride festival where the victim was abused after being plied with alcohol. Court documents describe the assault as being carried out “in a particularly painful or particularly offensive manner.” (Related: Prominent Philadelphia LGBT activist ARRESTED for allegedly sexually assaulting 2 kids.)
This cases is not isolated, but forms part of a broader pattern that raises serious questions about the exploitation of transgender and LGBT identities. It demonstrates how some predators are using progressive labels to shield themselves from scrutiny and accountability.
More troubling, however, is how the justice system handles cases like this. Given the track record of many sexual abusers suddenly identifying as “transgender” for a more lenient sentence, it implies that progressive labels can be used to evade consequences for heinous crimes. This leniency not only undermines the rule of law, but also risks normalizing the exploitation of vulnerable children.
One suspect in Bergen case involved in earlier disappearance
The social media profiles of the accused in the Bergen case reveal a disturbing culture of fetishism and deviance. Seberg, who describes himself as “trans fem” and “pansexual,” has a history of disturbing online behavior.
His online presence is a grotesque blend of BDSM, transgender activism and explicit references to violent sexual fantasies. Seberg’s FetLife profile describes him as a “perverted stream of consciousness” with a penchant for “gang bangs” and “abduction play.”
Baar, meanwhile, boasts of being a voyeur and sadist with a fetish for “pain,” “screaming” and “tearing off clothing.” Based on his social media presence, he revels in his sadistic tendencies. The 43-year-old describes himself as a “brat tamer” with a fetish for “group sex.”
His involvement in the unresolved disappearance and death of a woman in 2013 further underscores his troubling history. Eeva Maria Sieppi went missing after a night of drinking at a Bergen nightclub, where she was last seen by Baar, who offered her a place to stay after she was kicked out for drunkenness.
Sieppi declined and later disappeared; her body was found in a nearby lake on May 30. The cause of death remains unclear, but her sister has urged police to reopen the case as a potential murder investigation.
These individuals are not merely outliers; they are emblematic of a darker undercurrent within certain segments of the LGBT community. The LGBT movement must confront this issue head-on. The case involving the three abusers serves as a stark reminder that no identity, no matter how progressive, should be a shield for criminal behavior.
As society continues to grapple with issues of gender and sexuality, people must remain vigilant against those who would exploit these discussions for their own nefarious purposes. It is time to peel back the rainbow facade and address the uncomfortable truths lurking beneath.
