United States Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has said that voters declared they wanted an end to foreign wars when they voted for Donald Trump. She added that to continue to fund Ukraine is a “betrayal to the majority of Americans.”

Greene made the comments recently after a group of U.S. senators introduced a bill to allocate $54.6 billion in aid to Ukraine over the 2026 and 2027 fiscal years. President Donald Trump has repeatedly opposed more US aid to Kiev, arguing that European nations should cover those costs.

“Funding, fueling, and ultimately fighting Russia in Ukraine would be a complete betrayal to the majority of Americans,” Greene wrote in a post on X on Saturday. Accoridng to a report by RT, she added that “America voted to end funding and fighting foreign wars” in the 2024 presidential elections that Donald Trump won. She also wrote that taxpayers do not want their dollars spent killing people “in some foreign land over a foreign conflict that has absolutely zero effect on our lives.” Greene said that Republicans supporting such policies could “lose the younger generation of voters and may never get them back.”

Stop Drinking the Political Kool-Aid, America: Voting Will Not Save Us

As if voting has ever been anything more than the slaves’ suggestion box. The ruling class already has power, and none of them care about those beneath them when making policies or starting wars. Hopefully, that’s what the next generation will learn: not to vote harder. But Greene is a member of the ruling class and will stop at nothing to cement her own power over the lives of everyone else.

Americans under 50 are “beginning to feel completely unrepresented by both parties,” particularly because of various initiatives funded by taxpayer money that have already “made life unaffordable and the future bleak for the vast majority of average Americans,” she warned.

“It doesn’t matter who votes; what matters is who counts the votes.” -Joseph Stalin

While most Americans want an end to all wars, not just the foreign ones, the real problem is thinking that voting for it will make a difference. What do you think? Let us know your thoughts on voting or if the ruling class cares, or the foreign wars, since everything is being tied up nicely with a little bow by Greene with these comments.
