America Ranks Last in Election Integrity: Why AMAC Action Is Fighting Back

A startling new international study reveals that the United States ranks dead last among 37 democracies for election integrity—scoring below countries like Mexico, Kenya, and even Rwanda. With vulnerabilities tied to mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and unsecured electronic machines, the report is a validation for AMAC Action and its two million members of the work already undertaken to restore trust in the nation’s elections.

With this news, AMAC Action is doubling down on its fight for commonsense reforms.

Thousands Mobilized in Support of Reversing Harmful Obama-Era Home Care Rule

AMAC Action is celebrating a major advocacy win as more than 9,500 members raised their voices to protect affordable, trusted in-home care for seniors. By flooding the Department of Labor with public comments, AMAC members played a pivotal role in supporting a regulatory rollback that restores caregiving flexibility and reduces federal red tape for American families.

“This is what people-powered advocacy looks like,” said AMAC Action Senior Vice President Andy Mangione. “AMAC members spoke out with one voice – calling for a system that respects families, empowers caregivers, and allows seniors to age in the comfort of their homes.”

Michigan Election Integrity

Michigan’s Department of State is pushing new administrative rules (R 168.251-262) that would weaken the authority of local clerks, silence citizens, and block proven tools like CheckMyVote.org. By labeling proven research databases as “unreliable” and creating impossible standards for challenges, Michigan is creating a system that favors maintaining potentially inaccurate voter rolls over ensuring election integrity. When the Department of State sought comments regarding this maneuver, AMAC Michigan members mobilized against this blatant administrative overreach by leaving more than 1,300 comments in opposition to the rule change on their website. This issue is ongoing and AMAC Action will continue to monitor its status.
