AMAC Members Come Up Huge in 2024 Election by Shane Harris
“Over the course of the 2024 election cycle, AMAC members were engaged on a broad swath of issues at the local, state, and federal levels. The results show that this advocacy proved crucial on key issues and in key races throughout the country.”

Michigan Democrats Try to Force a Vote on the National Popular Vote Compact (NPV)
The Democrats in the Michigan state house tried to force a vote on the National Popular Vote Compact (NPV) during a lame duck session. NPV is an agreement among the states to award all of their electoral votes to the presidential candidate who wins the popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
This legislation threatens to erase Michigan’s voice in presidential elections and AMAC Action mobilized members to contact their state representative to oppose this bad bill.
AMAC members responded by sending over 2200 messages to state representatives and were successful in getting the bill pulled from the legislative schedule.
There are still eight days left in the legislative session and AMAC Action will continue to monitor any movement on NPV Compact initiative.
