Renowned cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough dropped a major bombshell when he revealed that billionaire globalist Bill Gates gave a whopping $9.5 million to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and principal investigator and virologist Yoshihiro Kawaoka to modify bird flu (H5N1) viruses to preferentially recognize human-type receptors and enable infection in humans.

“The @gatesfoundation money was also used in a project headed by both Yoshihiro Kawaoka and Ron Fouchier (he previously modified H5N1 to become airborne transmissible in ferrets at the Erasmus Medical Center), where they provided the two additional mutations that would be needed in Egyptian H5N1 viruses to create variants with the mammalian ‘transmissibility features’ identified in the Kawaoka study,” McCullough posted on X.

Kawaoka brought together an international team of scientists in a quest for a “more reliable method of identifying influenza threats to human health.” He and his colleagues look for mutations in viral proteins that allow avian influenza viruses to bind to human receptors or facilitate efficient replication in human cells.

“Early intervention is critical to the control of influenza virus outbreaks,” Kawaoka claimed. “But to intervene, we rely on early recognition of the pandemic potential of newly emerging influenza viruses.”

The university website admits that avian viruses don’t generally infect human or other mammalian hosts. However, it claimed that every once in a while, a mutation occurs that allows avian viruses to adapt to human cells. That is generally when a pandemic occurs, they warned. Much like bat coronaviruses, which we now know were modified in a laboratory to jump from bats to humans, H5N1 infects birds in its natural state.

Moreover, critics are worried that there is more to the said Gates-funded study. Back in 2006, Kawaoka and colleague Taisuke Horimoto published a study aimed at developing new “vaccines” for H5N1 influenza A viruses. Poultry and people reportedly contracted H5N1 at the time, raising concerns “that a new influenza pandemic might occur soon” as per the study authors.

“Effective vaccines against H5N1 virus are, therefore, urgently needed,” they added. However, the bird flu pandemic did not materialize, so they may be trying it again, observers commented. Gates Foundation is already pouring a lot of cash into more research on H5N1 that obviously aims to make it more transmissible to humans. WEF: Bird flu pandemic likely to have high mortality rate among humans

While global health authorities are drumming up fear that bird flu continues to spread among animals and possibly humans too, the globalist organization World Economic Forum (WEF) said the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is deeply focused in monitoring the next possible pandemic.

A former director of the CDC said a bird flu pandemic would likely have a high mortality rate among humans. The health agency now describes the virus as a “multi-state outbreak” of the H5N1 strain of bird flu among dairy cattle in the United States. Three dairy farm workers have reportedly been infected.

The WEF website also noted that avian influenza viruses have been increasingly detected in mammals, which has raised concerns the virus might adapt to infect humans more easily. It cited a recent report from the U.S. suggesting there was “strong evidence” that bird flu had spread from mammals to humans for the first time. But this was debunked by the World Health Organization (WHO), which said there is no sign yet that the H5N1 avian influenza virus is spreading between humans.

“The WHO and the CDC currently advise that the public health risk posed by H5N1 is low, but the CDC says it is monitoring the situation closely and ‘preparing for the possibility’ that the virus could gain the ability to spread more easily to and among people,” the website further reported.
