Vladimir Putin knows weakness. And when Putin sees a weak American leader, Putin takes advantage and he imperils the security of Europe. I have seen this first-hand in my home country of Poland.
In 2014, Putin sized up President Barack Obama, saw he was weak, and then
invaded Crimea. And Obama did nothing. In 2022, Putin sized up President Joe Biden and found him weak, and Putin invaded Ukraine. And Biden did nothing.
Putin also recognizes strength. When Donald Trump became President, Putin saw
strength. Putin knew not to mess with America nor anyone else. Ukraine was safe,
Poland was safe, and Europe, too. In fact, the world was safe.
If Kamala Harris negotiates a peace deal in Ukraine, you can know that it will be temporary because Vladimir Putin will assess her as a weak leader.
If Donald Trump is sworn in as president on January 20, 2025, you can rest assured that peace in the Ukraine will lead to Putin stopping his movements on Europe. Poland will be safe from Putin. Poland will also have a friend in Trump as we work to hold other European nations like Germany accountable to their defense spending commitments.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris like to claim they are tough on Putin and Russia. But when they took office one of the first things they did was approve the Nord Stream 2 pipeline to give Germany cheap fuel and to stabilize Putin’s economy. Remember that Donald Trump never allowed the Nord Stream 2 pipeline to be finished because he knew it would cause problems.
For over a decade, Germany has clamored, demanded from all that the Nord Stream 2 pipeline be built for one reason: so the Germans could buy cheap fuel from Russia and bypass other European nations who could sell it fuel. Why? Because Germany wanted a bargain and didn’t care if they imperiled other nations in Europe.
Germany did this while falling short in its NATO commitments for spending on defense. And yet they demanded Nord Stream 2 so they could make a deal with Russia. Why? In my estimation, because Germany wanted to make itself great at the expense of Poland and the rest of Europe.
President Trump forced Germany and other NATO members to pay their fair share for national defense. Poland led by example in this respect, spending a higher percentage of its GDP on defense than any other nation in Europe. With President Trump in office, I am confident Poland and the rest of the free world will have a “tough but fair” partner in the White House.
I intend to work with President Trump to build up the Polish military and to finish Fort Trump so that by the time Donald Trump has completed his second term, Poland can forcefully face Putin and not have to rely on a weak Democrat presidential leader.
I’m Polish. I’m a proud Polish citizen. I don’t have a vote in your election next week. But if any of you Americans care about Poland or the security of Europe, don’t be fooled by Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, or your media.
Poland needs Trump. Europe needs Trump. The world needs Trump. And most importantly, America needs Trump.
